These inserts are manufactured from free cutting brass grades like IS 319 Type (I), BS 249 Type (I), CuZn37Pb3 (BS 2874) and also are available in other grades of brass like CZ 121, CZ 131, C3604, CDA 360, DTD 627 etc. The sizes start from M1.5 or other equivalent threads and may be arranged as per the requirement. Other specified thread configurations also are available, such as ISO metric, BA, BSW, UNC, UNF, UNEF, NPT, BSP and BSPT. The inserts may be furnished with natural, golden, silver, nickel-plated, chrome-plated, tin-plated or other special coatings. They have a square body to ensure good grip and positioning, and deep body grooves for enhanced pull-out resistance. Close tolerances on the inside diameter (ID) are used to reduce any unwanted flush entry, and threads are checked based on the international Go and No-Go gauge standards.
